PROFILE

A Level 2 FA coach, who has been a professional/semi professional football player for 18 years. A fully qualified teacher, specialising in sports and also qualified in First Aid. An established and respected name and profile within the region, having started at Arsenal and recently finishing playing, after six years for Cheltenham Town Fc where he contributed significantly to the most successful period in Cheltenham Towns’ history, with the rise from Dr Martens to Division Two.

Currently complementing both my teaching and professional football career to offer boys and girls from the age of 6-14 life long football experiences through offering professional, organised, safe and enjoyable soccer coaching.

I have captained the Great British Students side at the World Student games in 1995 in Japan and have represented England at Semi Professional level.

EMPLOYMENT HISTORY

August 2003 - Present Premier Sports Coaching in Association with Arsenal FC.

Premier Sports Coaching aims to provide children from the age of 6 to 14 with a professional coaching environment, offering programmes that are positive, enriching, and affordable. It aims to attract participants on a return basis throughout their school years and to be perceived as a valuable resource, which complements the academic experiences they are currently offered. It will give the opportunity to participate in positive learning and soccer team experiences, along with the opportunity to create memories.

Having an experienced current player provide coaching, will set it apart from its main competitors in the area, so offering premier youth soccer experiences, while at the same time, making the experience as affordable and available as possible for all interested participants.

The courses will be designed to offer the following to each participant: - Recreation through participation in organised soccer coaching. - The opportunity to learn, develop and experience a sport. - A means to improving athletic and technical skills. - A means to learn teamwork, sportsmanship, and fair play. - A source of fun and enjoyment to enrich children’s lives. - An opportunity to enhance their health and fitness.

The parents and guardians of the participants will also benefit. They are able to offer their children a positive, well-supervised and qualified experience as they learn the skills described above that does not necessarily require their time.

1997- Cheltenham Football Club (Division 2 &3) July 2003 Professional Footballer - 210 appearances , 16 goals.

1993-1997 Dover Athletic FC (Conference) Semi Professional Footballer - 165 appearances , 21 goals .

1990-1993 Double Flower FC (Hong Kong) Professional Footballer - Represented Hong Kong in Select XI on 10 occasions.

1985-1990 Arsenal Football Club (Premier Division) Started with the club at the age of 16 making 150 reserve appearances and friendlies / testimonials for the first team.
